Our Chamber provides an opportunity for members to combine those talents to improve business, strengthen our community and to implement those changes necessary to maintain a community which continues to be recognized as one of the best in the world in which to live.
Our Board of Directors represents a broad cross section of the businesses in our community. Representatives are from retail, industrial and professional sectors and reflect the needs of small, medium and large sized businesses.
Our Chamber provides a source of information for business activities and acts as the voice of business for our community. It is the organization that is devoted to addressing the political issues that affect our business from a local, provincial and national level.
Our Chamber has been in existence since January 27, 1927 and over the years has promoted the beauty of being a small community while supporting successful, well planned growth.
Our administration includes a strong management with more than twenty years experience in addressing the needs of businesses through Chambers of Commerce in this province. Our staff is knowledgeable, well trained and dedicated to the well being of our community. We provide numerous benefits to our members including employee benefit packages, low Visa/MasterCard rates, networking opportunities and advertising space for business cards, brochures and rack cards in displays at the Chamber downtown business office and the Visitor Center on the beach.
