I have now spent more than 20 years as a Chamber executive still believe it is the best job in any community. Certainly Qualicum Beach is no exception to that feeling. The Chamber of Commerce is known world wide as the source of information on the community no matter what the size. It is where residents, visitors and business people come with their questions and every day our challenge is to try and have the right answers.
The Qualicum Beach Chamber was chartered in 1927 as the "Voice of Business" because the merchants of the day believed collectively they had a greater voice than they had as individuals. Fifteen years later the Town of Qualicum Beach was incorporated and we have been working together ever since to improve our amazing small town for our residents, businesses and visitors.
We are still the "Voice of Business" on behalf of our members and work every day to keep the needs of business in front of government at all levels. In partnership with Tourism BC, the Town of Qualicum Beach and our members we also continue to service visitors to the community at our Visitor Centre on the beach.
We are open for business in the heart of the Village and I encourage you to stop in and see us. Let's build the future of Qualicum Beach together.
